Introducing the 2021 Honda Accord and Accord Hybrid

Introducing the 2021 Honda Accord and Accord Hybrid
The 2021 Honda Accord and Accord Hybrid coming soon at Spinelli Honda receive some aesthetic and technical modifications that make them even more desirable.

Now in its fourth year of production, the 2021 Honda Accord Sedan receives for this new vintage some aesthetic modifications and a new advanced hybrid system. Among the changes, the new Honda Accord gains an enlarged grille adorned with thin chrome strips, and the internal structure of the headlights has been revised to give them more power, all versions get new wheels and it will be possible to get 19-inch wheels for the 2021 Honda Accord Hybrid, as well as a new shade, Sonic Gray Pearl. Also, it gains a Low Speed Braking Control system to prevent collisions, for added safety.

Interior changes include wireless integration of the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto applications, a new 8-inch display on all variants and the addition of rear-seat reminder alert. The manual transmission is gone, but the 1.5 and 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engines are back in service. The continuously variable automatic transmission and 10-speed automatic transmission also remain on the menu.

Subtle Shifts

The 2021 Accord Hybrid Sedan, meanwhile, benefits from a treatment that provides greater fluidity when switching from electric to hybrid mode, while optimizing the use of electric mode. These changes help give the hybrid sedan more acceleration and a more spontaneous feel. On our roads for the past 15 years, it is powered by a 4-cylinder engine and an electric motor that together produce 212 horsepower. Lively and very pleasant to drive, this engine promises a combined fuel economy of just 5.0 L/100 km.

Why we love it so much

One of the highly appreciated aspects of the 2021 Honda Accord and Honda Hybrid is without a doubt their very luxurious and spacious interior. The quality of the materials and assembly is absolutely impeccable, and even in the back seat, three adults can sit very comfortably without even being inconvenienced by a lack of legroom, for example.

Although we don't yet know the prices of the 2021 Accord Hybrid or 2021 Accord, we can still anticipate that these prices will be slightly higher than those of the 2020 versions, and that would be perfectly normal. We can therefore expect a bill slightly over $30,000 for the entry-range LX version and just under $43,000 for the high-end Touring version. On the hybrid side, a little over $35,000 will be required to purchase the base model and just under $43,000 for the Touring.

Why change

Since you don't change a winning recipe, the new Honda Accord Hybrid should retain its great features such as Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, Lane Keeping Assist System, LaneWatch blind spot display, LED fog lights, Driver Attention Monitor, multi-angle rearview camera and so much more. The exact release date for the 2021 Accord Hybrid is not yet known, but it is expected to arrive in dealerships as early as this fall.

Standard on the 2021 Accord, the exact release date of which is also unknown, you'll be treated to a host of amenities and technologies that are all more awesome than ever, such as heated front seats, Wi-Fi connectivity, text messaging, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth and so on.

Lots of space

With a cargo volume of 473 litres, you'll have enough room for your groceries or your findings during your shopping sprees and as mentioned previously, the passenger compartment welcomes you in a very spacious, cosy space of nearly 3,000 litres, one of the most spacious in its class. No one will complain about long trips, let alone having to stretch their legs. Such qualities deserve a serious look, so come and see us at your Spinelli Honda dealership, located in Lachine in the southwest part of Montreal, accessible via Highway 13 from Laval.
