What can we expect this coming year with Honda? Several wonderful changes including new designs, new technologies and new powertrains, amongst other things. We will certainly remember the year 2023 for all of the novelties the 2023 Honda SUVs bring. Are you ready to find out more?
2023 Honda SUVs
The least we can say is that for Honda, the year 2023 is synonym of change. We could also add that the designers who worked on the 2023 Honda SUVs were extremely creative! As you will see for yourself, they are all incredibly stunning, with a capital S!
2023 Honda Pilot
With over 20 years on the roads, the midsize 2023 Honda Pilot is certainly one of the most popular 3- row SUVs of its category. More imposing, more modern and offering more technologies, the Pilot now boasts a robust look with a more massive grille and square fenders.
The interior has also gone through a major makeover: with a streamlined and modern dashboard, digital instrumentation and revamped infotainment system. The 3.5 L V6 engine remains, although it will provide you with an extra 5 horsepower compared to the 2022 model, for a total of 285; maximum torque remains at 262 lb-ft.
The new TrailSport trim is equipped with all-terrain tires, protection plates and a suspension that is higher off the ground. Other available trims are the Sport, EX-L, Touring and Black Edition. We will know more about specific prices closer to arrival date.
2023 Honda CR-V
A compact SUV, the 2023 Honda CR-V is now offered in 5 trims, including the 2023 Honda CR-V hybrid. It not only acquires a new look, but also a more generous amount of space, more comfortable seats, a quieter interior and more storage compartments.
Thanks to the longer wheelbase, passengers will enjoy more space aboard the CR-V on top of a larger trunk. In fact, by lowering the floor, you will have access to 1,112 liters of cargo space and when seats from the 2nd row are folded down, this climbs to 2,166 liters. 2023 Honda HR-V
With a more original and stylish look than the CR-V, the all-new 2023 Honda HR-V SUV is simply sublime. The beehive shaped grille is more defined and off-set from the headlights, the bumper is matt black, the roof is lower and lines are more chiseled, which are all elements that contribute to making it even sexier than before, especially with the Nordic Forest Pearl color. It one word, it is… wow!
You will also enjoy a new interior, both sober and refined, all dressed in black but with contrasting topstitches to break the monotony. This new and more user friendly space is also more modern, yet takes nothing away from the comfortable interior we have grown accustomed to with Honda.

2023 Honda hybrid SUVs
Apart from the Honda Accord sedan that offers a hybrid powertrain, the 2023 Honda CR-V hybrid is the only sports utility to borrow this type of powertrain, at least for the time being. Perhaps in a very near future we’ll have access to a 2023 Honda HR-V hybrid?
2023 Honda CR-V hybrid
The only version offered for now, the Honda CR-V Touring hybrid offers, amongst other things:
- Leather upholstery;
- Rain sensing wipers;
- Hands-free power tailgate.

2023 Honda electric SUVs
With its imminent arrival in Quebec and Montreal in 2023, the Honda Prologue electric will borrow the midsize format and, if we rely on the latest news, this 100 % electric SUV will use the same Ultium battery as the Cadillac Lyriq, which would lead us to believe that the electric range should play around 480 kilometers. We will learn more as it gets closer to arrival date.
