Discover the 2023 Honda HR-V, coming soon

The all-new 2023 Honda HR-V will both please you and surprise you!  Its arrival in Montreal is imminent, as it is expected for this summer. With a completely redesigned fascia, including a new beehive pattern radiator grille with the Honda logo presiding above it, this Honda SUV stands out from all other Honda models. 

It is also lower to the ground, has a longer hood, a more streamlined roofline and is wider.  In short, the Honda crossover SUV is much sportier than its predecessor.  We love its new sexy look! 

Without getting into details, the manufacturer has promised that this HR-V will be equipped with a more powerful engine, a new independent rear suspension, and will offer a more exciting dynamic driving experience.  In order to give its North-American clients exactly what they want, the Japanese manufacturer has also ensured us that this model, specially made for the North-American market, will be different than the one on European and Japanese roads. 

If we look at the sketches found on the web, we can clearly see that wheels will be bigger and that we can also expect a rear fender in a contrasting color.  Nothing official has been said about the powertrain.  However, the European model has a 1.5 L 4- cylinder engine, coupled with an electric motor, for a total of 130 horsepower.  In Canada, the HR-V should be even more powerful, and also probably turbocharged, although this has yet to be made official. 

No information has been made available either about the different available versions. All we know is that there are 4 for the 2022 model:

• LX-2WD;
• LX-AWD;
• Sport;
• Touring.

When it comes to prices, we will find out more as we get closer to the arrival date.  But here’s an idea of the 2022 prices per version:
