The 2022 Honda Civic will be powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder that delivers 158 horsepower like the current generation. The turbocharged four-cylinder is also back, but with 180 horsepower instead of 174. According to Honda, the new Civic will be more fuel-efficient and will feel more powerful as well thanks to improvements made to the drivetrain.
The interior has been revamped from A to Z, offering a sleek and contemporary design where most of the functions are housed in a new, larger centre touchscreen. We think you will agree the interior is stunning and looks simply amazing overall. The standard touchscreen measures 7 inches, but there’s a 9.0-inch unit that is optional. There’s also a new 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now wireless.
The Civic feature plenty of advanced safety tech as well, including automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection and adaptive cruise control with lane-keeping assist. It also feature Honda’s award-winning new airbag design that provides better protection in a range of crash scenarios.
